For many people who live with mental illness having a tattoo can be a visible reminder of not only their struggle but of the hope they have from all they have overcome. Yet more and more people are finding the strength to talk openly about their depression anxiety and other mental illnesses. Anyone who has gone through bouts of anxiety or depression has probably wondered what the best way to honor their struggle would be. We wanted to know what tattoos people have that are inspired by living with anxiety so we asked our mental health community to share photos of their own tattoos that represent their anxiety journeys.
